Gerald Vanenburg: „How Berry.En AKTIV changed my life“

When I was 17 years old I played my first match in the 1st team of AFC Ajax Amsterdam. At that time the team was coached by Aad de Mos. With Ajax I became Dutch football champion 3 times. In 1986 I moved to PSV Eindhoven and in the years after we won the Dutch national championship 5 times!

The year 1988 was a very special year for me. With PSV we won both the Dutch Championship title as well as the Dutch Cup Final. In the same year we  won the Europe Cup 1 in Stuttgart (which today is the Champions League).

My biggest success came when we became European Champion with the Dutch national team during the 1988 European Championship in Germany. In the Championship Final in Munich we beat the Russian team by 2-0.

Years later I was faced with serious physical problems. My knee ligaments were torn off twice and I went through a very difficult period. My strong will to recover brought me back to the highest level again.

In the season 1999/2000 I played my last match for the team of Munich 1860. I had to stop playing football as my body and especially my knees were strongly protesting. After the last operation on my knee ligaments I never got back to my old level again.

After my football career I now like to be active in tennis, golf and squash. But not anymore on the professional level I was used to. But that is quite normal for a person who was active at the highest level of sport during 25 years.  One of my squash friends, who had suffered from back and achilles problems, told me he had started to use the product AKTIV from Berry.En, and that he was now without medical problems again. He convinced me to also start using AKTIV. At the beginning I was very sceptic and only took a pack of nutritional gel once in a while.
